Giovanna Silvestre Reveals ‘Seven Things Every Confused Girl Should Do’

The internationally acknowledged social media star and founder of clothing brand ‘Confused Girl In The City’ is currently adding the finishing touched to her author debut.

The multi-talented influencer and entrepreneur is aiming for a new success story – by sharing her previous ones. Silvestre doesn’t shy away from opening up about challenging times and personal topics such as being a young woman without a real direction, the feeling of not doing what she loves every day or feeling depressed. She wants to deliver a guide and wants to “help women of every age to navigate a positive life course through a rapidly changing world of new opportunities that, while seemingly daunting in some respects, nevertheless offers women greater potential than ever before for achieving self-fulfillment through the discovery and pursuit of their true nature and passions.”

Interestingly enough, the story and brand ‘Confused Girl’ started as a blog. So Silvestre is making things come full circle to some degree with her current project. The writing progress is going well on her Bali balcony, between business duties and Yoga sessions.
The sport that combines exercise with spirituality has had a huge impact on Silestre’s life. About six years ago, the idea of founding her own clothing label with the intention to empower women lead to the launch of the brand that uses prints of photos of healing crystals for their designs. A motivation that rose within Giovanna after going through a significant ‘internal awakening’. And one, that has turned into a real success. CGITS’s products and story have been featured in Forbes, Yoga Digest & Silicon Beach Magazine. Another publication the young successor is especially proud of is her brands appearance on the cover of Yoga LA. Seeing the magazine with her brand on the cover for months all over Los Angeles has been a real highlight. Having come an inspiring long way , Silvestre doesn’t take anything for granted.

“ Two favorite entrepreneurial moments were when my intern was in Munich Germany and texted me that she saw a girl biking by in our leggings. Also, when I was having a moment of doubt and I saw a girl walking by in our leggings in Venice beach as I was driving past her. These are a few of my favorite moments. I love seeing our customers feeling confident and happy in our apparel.”

The hard working first generation American is looking at an extraordinarily successful career as a social media influencer too. The Instagram star has worked with global major brands from T-Mobile, Vitamin Water, Coca-Cola, Crocs, Lindt Chocolate, to Audi, Vaseline and many more. Silvestre was one of the first female influencers world wide to team up with German car manufacturers Audi, another proud moment in her career.

Who knows, after everything we’ve experienced in 2020, maybe it has given Giovanna the time needed to finish her book in her Bali residence. It would be a pleasant surprise for all of her loyal followers.
